Bio/My Tri Story
Name: Clint Lehman
Part of Town: Mack South (Westside)
Tri Years: 5
Longest Tri: 70.3
Favorite Race: Chicago Triathlon, Boston Marathon
2017 Goals: Ironman Louisville 140.6!!
I got involved in triathlon 5 years ago after meeting my future wife’s family. I spectated her family competing in the Chicago Triathlon and vowed to never be a spectator again. I started working out more (lost 196lbs.) and trained for Tri For Joe in 2012. After that race I was hooked. I had been bitten by the TRI and Marathon bug. I definitely consider myself more of a road runner than a triathlete, but I have the goal of completing a 140.6, and this year I will make that happen despite and early season battle with achilles tendinosis.
I have an 18 month old son, Carter, and a baby girl, Adelaide, due to join the world around October 1st. I have a wonderful and supportive wife, Genna, who also does triathlons (although she has taken a couple years off for babies). We both look forward to continuing to be a part of this community and continuing our #fitfamily goals.
